All yarn is dyed using professional acid dyes which are heavy metal free. I have set and washed the yarn 3 times prior to skeining although I recommend washing the item separately the first time. Colors may bleed slightly after first wash. As with all hand dyed items, there may be variations in the colors and mixing of colors in certain spots. Every attempt has been made to get colors accurate in photos, however monitors may vary.
